Starting with the second 10 works project, I found out that I really liked using watercolor, blowing acrylic paint and using a plain woodgrain background. I cut up a ton of small wood panels and decided to not paint over it since I love the way the plain wood looks up against color. I think this set of work was a lot more successful and I believe it has partly to do with the fact that every piece I worked on was of the same material and size, therefore making it looks more unified.
